On August 19th Tom McPhee, Executive Director of the World Animal Awareness Society – WA2S.org will host a reception and fundraiser for the ALL EYES ON THE GULF Expedition (AEOTGE). AEOTGE is an unprecedented expedition in which WA2S.org volunteers have a continuous presence in the Gulf regions to document how the Deepwater Horizon oil spill is affecting the “wild-LIFE” and follows the inspiring stories of the human interactions with those animals.
Held at the Peter Max Gallery in New York City (37 West 65th Street, 7th Floor), the reception will include cocktails, vegan hors d'oeuvres catered by Café Blossom, a special gift bag for each attendee, and a presentation by Tom McPhee about the World Animal Awareness Society and the ALL EYES ON THE GULF Expedition. Gallery hosts Mary & Peter Max will be in attendance along with special guests Celine Cousteau of CauseCentric Productions and John Phillips of the New York League of Humane Voters.
